dmearket.com was born in 2018 from a simple observation: traditional coworking spaces weren't meeting the specific needs of Barcelona's growing tech community. Our founders, Marco García and Elena Vidal, experienced this firsthand as a developer and UX designer respectively.
After working in various spaces that lacked either the technical infrastructure, community focus, or understanding of tech workflows, they decided to create the workspace they wished existed - one designed specifically for IT professionals, by IT professionals.
Starting with a small space in the 22@ innovation district, dmearket.com quickly became a hub for Barcelona's tech talent. Today, we've expanded to 2,500 square meters across two locations, serving over 300 members from freelance developers to established tech companies.
